Data protection

This data protection statement explains to users the nature, scope and purposes of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider on this website.

The legal basis for data protection is found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Access data/ server log files

The provider (and/or his webspace provider) collects data about every access to the offering (so-called server log files). The access data includes:

Name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited webpage), IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider uses the log data only to perform statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offering. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data subsequently if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete evidence.

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information with the help of which a person can be identified, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the person’s name, email address or telephone number. However, personal data also encompasses preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites someone has viewed.

The provider only collects, uses and passes on personal data when legally permitted to do so or when the users agree to the collection of data.

When contacting the provider (e.g. via contact form or e-mail), the user's details are stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise.

Integration of third-party services and content

Within this online offering, it can happen that third-party content is integrated, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. This always presupposes that the providers of these contents (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") are aware of the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the individual user. The IP address is therefore necessary for the display of this content. We make every effort to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address only to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on whether, for example, the third-party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes. To the extent that we are aware of said IP address storage, we inform our users thereof.

Revocation, amendments, corrections and updates

The user has the right to request information free of charge about the personal data stored about him/her. In addition, the user has the right to have incorrect data corrected as well as to block and delete his personal data, provided that this does not conflict with any legal obligation to preserve records.
