The site is located to the west of Nuremberg's old town, between the Frankenschnellweg and Fürther Straße. The central location and the direct connection to the public transport system via the Eberhardshof underground stop allow a variety of attractive uses for the site.

The property is listed as an industrial icon of the former German economic miracle "Quelle". The concept envisages the development of a mixed-use property in the listed building with a focus on residential, office, gastronomy and retail uses, supplemented by social facilities such as a day care centre. The subsidised housing will be realised on a compensation area.

In the front part, facing Fürther Straße, construction work began in spring 2021. A lease agreement has been concluded with the City of Nuremberg for a public authority centre covering 42,000m². Retail relevant to the local supply will be located on the ground floor of this part of the building.

The Q will be a completely new type of mixed-use property, combining all the needs of urban life under one roof in a building steeped in history.
